Caterpillar G series gas generating set

With flexible fuel options, Caterpillar generating set can use the most abundant gassources of the client as its fuel. The engine design ca apply to natural gas, biogas and other fuels, and Caterpillar is committed to improving efficiency and reducing life cycle costs to comply with the regulations of most global emissions. The Genset have customizable options that are easy to select, licensed, and installed.

The new engine technologies provide power, heat or combined heat with the world first class power efficiency and thermal efficiency.  Make your dreams come true with world-class electricity.

G-A: Excellent reliability

Excellent uptime and maintenance convenience, Can provide a variety of heat, high Fuel flexibility and environmental adaptability

G-B: Optimal balance and adaptability

G3500B series is the first Cat gas generating set which introduced a number of advanced technologies. With strong adaptability, it can deal with gas with the methane which value is as low as 60MN. And recently they realized efficient operation of gas with low methane value (such as propane).  Maneuverability first, G3516B generating set is the world's first gas generating set to achieve rarefied combustion. It is widely used in all mobile, containerized power stations.

G-C: Optimal responsiveness and durability

Biogas corrosion could be effectively resisted by the specially treated aftercooler core, cylinder head and rear gear bearing. This leading the industry in corrosive fuel treatment.  Due to the specialized control architecture, the isolated grid version of the C-series generating sets provides the industry's best choice for efficient & independent operation of the public grid.

Special Projects: Caterpillar is investing in research and development for using of special fuels such as syngas, blast furnace gas, coke oven gas and ultra-low concentration methane gas, which can be used in the C-Series platforms.

G-E has high electrical efficiency

The electrical efficiency of G-h E and H series has been improved to a new level at 44.7% (1.0PF, ISO). Both E and H series Gensets could offer tailor-made turbochargers, air systems and controls.  USD14,000/Year of oil consumption could be reduced and The plan of overhaul intervals is up to 80,000 hours to ensure long-term operations at the lowest possible cost.
